Stand with Jennifer Davis in Her Transplant Battle

My name is Billy Davis and my wife is Jennifer Davis. We recently got the bad news that she has an advanced liver disease and will very soon require a full transplant.

One day we were just sitting there celebrating a friend’s birthday, and then the next day our whole world has been flipped upside down and things haven’t been the same ever since. At this point, we are about midway through the transplant evaluation process. We have spent a lot of time going between UAB hospital in Birmingham, Alabama to Huntsville hospital and trying to recover in between. It goes without saying that this has been beyond scary, and stressful in every imaginable way.

After her surgery, we will have to stay near UAB in Birmingham for at least 5 weeks and the upfront cost of this is weighing on us as well as so many other costs associated with the disease.

I honestly do not like asking for anything from anybody, but what I want right now isn’t what we have in front of us this year. This will be an uphill battle for sure and it is sure to get harder as we go. Please help if you can in any way that you can. The emotional cost is so much and if you can help at all with the financial side of this, we would appreciate it more than words can express.
