Stand with Jenny in Her Battle for Life

Dear friends and family,

I am writing to you all with a heavy heart to share the severity of Jenny's current health condition. Jenny has suffered complete heart failure, after a heart attack with left ventricular thrombosis causing a blood clot to tear one of the main aortic arteries. As a result, her heart is very weak and she is currently staying alive only by the IV medication. The doctors have informed us that there are no surgical procedures to fix her heart and it cannot be repaired. After 2 weeks in the ICU there were high hopes of her being able to come off this medication but new findings have shown that her heart is much worse than they originally thought.

The doctors have told her that she may not make it through this. She and her family/friends are beyond devastated. She is not ready to give up. She is a fighter and will do everything in her power to stay strong and keep fighting.

The doctors have suggested that she continue with the IV medication and are also considering getting an LVad device to help her heart pump and work. This could possibly bridge her until she can get on the transplant list.

Unfortunately this means her mom is needing to move to Denver right away as there are no options for administering the medication or meeting weekly with the transplant doctors (who are only available in Denver). Having some financial help for carrying 2 house payments, potential hospice care and whatever else comes up.
