Stand with Jess's Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Jess has always been a whirlwind of activity, pouring all her love and attention into our children, Addie (6) and Waylon (5). Last year, with the kids ecstatic about welcoming a new sibling, we decided to complete our family.
On March 29, Colton Ray was born and immediately rushed to the NICU. Jess, too, faced complications. She expressed concerns about her legs feeling strange, but doctors brushed it off as postpartum issues.
We spent countless days and nights visiting different doctors, hospitals, and specialists, only to be told she was healing and it would get better. What should have been the happiest time of our lives has turned into a nightmare. On top of everything Jess had to get her gallbladder removed which caused further set backs. Three months later, her symptoms have worsened, and she is now mostly chair and bed-bound, struggling to walk even short distances. Between the debilitating headaches, changes in vision, and the pain of not being the mom she wants to be, Jess can no longer care for Addie, Waylon, and our newest addition, Colton.
In the process, I lost my job due to the time required to take Jess to appointments and care for our family.
With this diagnosis, I’ve had to stay home to care for Jess and our three kids. We are now $15,000 in credit card debt and facing over $100,000 in medical bills. Unemployment has not come through for us. At this point I’m at a complete loss, so I am swallowing my pride and asking for help. I’m starting this to help keep me home until I find proper car for my family.
If you can’t donate, I understand. All I ask is that you share our story to help get the word out and potentially save someone else from this heartache.
Any help will be a blessing and greatly appreciated
