Stand with John Carter in His Battle
Donation protected
It breaks my heart to have to tell you that John Carter lost his battle with cancer this afternoon. He truly was determined to fight it, but his body was just too weak to go on any longer. As soon as I know what his final arrangements are, I will post them here. As most of you know, he and Gina were raising their two grandsons Caine and Travis. They are both in high school and are going to need some help. Any donations will be appreciated to help with funeral arrangements and college or trade school for the boys. To all of you who have donated Thank You ever so much.

Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm raising funds for John Carter and his family. I have known John for over 40 years when we worked together at The Ritz as Hair Designers in Pilgrim Square. He has always been one of the BEST. Over 41 years ago, he and his wife Gina were Blessed with a baby girl they named Brittany their only child. A few years ago they lost Brittany to an accidental drug overdose. It was not only tragic to John and Gina, but also to her two young sons that were left for John and Gina to raise. The boys were Travis 10 and Kaine 12 at the time, and it was rough on everyone. The picture above was when both Brittany and her dad John, had long flowing locks of curly hair. He could have been a model for those Romance Novels.
Fast Forward to last year, when John found out he had prostate cancer and it had gone into his bones, namely his spine, hips and ribs. Now he has a mass on one of his right ribs that has to be biopsied. They will then start radiation or chemo depending on the results. The doctor has told him it is stage 4, which is not good news. Besides worrying about his health, his roof was badly damaged by one of the storms and needs replaced. He tried calling his home insurance, but the shingles are so old they won't even cover it, then on top of that he has water coming in his basement. So he is trying to get someone to help him with that. Then hearing his own news about his health problems has really taken a toll on him. He is trying very hard to stay positive, but things are not looking good and he is very worried about his grandsons and wife and is very depressed. He REALLY NEEDS OUR HELP!
PLEASE consider donating and no amount is too small, any help will be truly appreciated. All money will be put into a separate account at HUNTINGTON BANK going directly to
JOHN CARTER AND FAMILY.
THANK YOU and please Share this with anyone who knows of John or would be willing to help. I'm sure he will appreciate any help we can give him.
