Stand with Johnny in meeting his medical recovery needs!

Greetings family, friends and all of our community, we need your help. I, Chris, Johnny's loving longtime wife am setting up this account for Johnny. And yes, just to confirm, it really is me. Simply stated, Johnny has been on a long painful medical journey, having 4 surgeries and several medical complications, all of which you have shared with us.

You have been supportive sending your loving thoughts and prayers and he has pulled through everytime, despite the occasional near death experiences while in surgery.

Now we need a little more help.

Johnny is now against the wall in his recovery phase. Because we live in gratitude, he shows up, suits up, and we both maintain a wonderful positive attitude through it all but the crippling pain that limits his ability to walk and or stand for more than 15 minutes at a time has created severe muscle atrophy and continuing loss of sensation in his arms, legs. The life giving cerebrospinal fluid has been greatly impacted by the spinal surgeries creating serious problems. We have top notch insurance but the great physical therapy including high tech lasers, magnets and good ole fashion movement therapies he has been receiving is not enough. Also, as crazy expensive as it is, the insurance company has doubled his yearly rate, now refuses needed services and he doesn't have the option to switch companies due to "pre-existing"....! I even had to take my attorney to our recent meeting with the insurance executives. We cover all our responsibilities to make sure everyone is on the same page. His neurologist has stated that it is a must he do Aquatic therapy, Acupuncture and Medical Massage, all of which are not covered by insurance. Also, his insurance rejected a Brain angiogram last week, which is critical to his recovery process. If you recall, his brain waves suffered a full on collapse 2 years that ended up in an unexpected ER visit and consequent hospital stay.

As a reminder, he has had 2 Lumbar surgeries, which created permanent structural damage, an emergency foot surgery and 1 cervical spine surgery last year. The cumulative effects of stress, both physical stressors and economic stressors created by out of pocket expenses area all catching up.

For the first time in his life, Johnny is feeling afraid in his process since more difficulties keep showing up due to the impact on the lifegiving flow of the cerebrospinal fluid .

He is the greatest Biomechanic we all know and love. Johnny has been working hard, keeping his spirits up, he looks good and is seemingly better, but if he doesn't get the necessary physical therapies required, his body's complicated neurological and physical health sustaining internal mechanisms won't be able to kick in to keep him on the road to improvement.
