On December 16th, Karen was shot by a San Antonio Police officer who initially claimed she had a knife in her hand. However, after further investigation, it was revealed that she was unarmed and posed no threat.

This incident has devastated our family and left us searching for answers and accountability. Stories like this are unfortunately not uncommon, but you never fully grasp the weight of these injustices until they directly impact someone you love.

We are committed to seeking justice for Karen, but the financial burden of legal representation is significant. We have been informed that attorney fees could range from $15,000 to $25,000. This is a cost our family cannot bear alone, and we are reaching out to our community for help.
