Stand with Kenny Jasengnou's Fight for Life

Hello, my name is James Jasengnou, and I truly appreciate you for taking the time to read my story. My brother, Kenny Jasengnou, a father of 5 boys and his wife have unfortunately come across a difficult hurdle in life. On Mother's Day, Kenny found himself feeling weak and struggling to even take a few footsteps. He decided to get it checked. He was later admitted to St. Mary's Hospital, where the doctors later found a bacterial infection that had been in his bloodstream. The bacterial infection had already spread to the heart and damaged his aortic valve.

Kenny was scheduled for a surgical procedure to replace his aortic valve. The morning of the surgery, Kenny went into cardiac arrest twice, once in the room and on the way to OR. CPR was performed, but the second CPR attempt was not successful and he was placed on the ECMO machine to temporarily take over the functions of the heart and lungs. In the OR, Kenny underwent an aortic valve replacement and double bypass. After the surgery, Kenny was experiencing excessive bleeding and was rushed back to OR. The surgeon did not find any reasonable cause of the hemorrhaging and was able to stabilize Kenny to be transported to UW Health.

Kenny is currently on full life support and is still fighting for his life. This fundraiser has been put into place to aid their family's upcoming financial hardships.
