Hi, My name is Ms. Jennifer Garcia, a friend of Ms. Lauren Friese. We have been in each others lives since meeting through real estate and Love Elementary in Houston in 2016.
Lauren is a loving, kind, genuine, mother and all around good human, having jumped into action to help so many through advocating and volunteering: Heights Sewing group sewing masks for first responders in 2020; Veterans Rights, served on Houston Board of directors Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals; clothing drives for VA Hospital; TREPAC 2013; Texas association Realtors TRLP class of 2013; helping people get out of Harvey Flood; 2005 Race for the Cure and many fundraising efforts for our friends and causes in the past. It's this moment now that Lauren will need our help, and help from our Real Estate, Veterans, HAR, Houston and community.
Lauren was driving her Bronco to her son’s game. She was in a near fatal accident; when another vehicle crashed into the passenger backside of her vehicle. Causing her vehicle to violently spin and violently roll multiple times down the pavement landing on the roof. She was unconscious and removed from the vehicle, as a result sustained spinal cord injuries, 8 vertebral sections, spinal cord compression , TBI, memory loss, limited mobility, loss of dexterity.
She recently had cervical spinal cord surgery on multiple vertebral sections installing rods, screws, bone graph, spinal cord decompression, disc replacement, fusion. She will be having another Lumbar Spinal Surgery in July.
The recovery: physical therapy and cognitive therapy and career education/ development will be long. She will not be able to work and provide for her family. Lauren will need our support.
We are hoping to make her recovery a little easier by raising some funds to help Lauren, and her family.
The grace of God She alive but she definitely needs our help. I appreciate your time and efforts. Please share with others in the community. Hit the donate button if you can and send love and positive vibes her way.
Best Regards,
Ms. Jennifer Garcia
