Lauren's Surgery and Recovery Fund

Hi! My name's Lauren. I don't usually like asking for help, but I feel it is necessary today.

I'm having a very important and invasive surgery on October 14th, 2024. It's something I've been working towards for a long time, and I'm happy that my insurance has agreed to cover it, with the caveat that I pay a portion of my coinsurance and a copayment. This is the main reason I've set up this fundraiser, to be able to aid with some of the cost of surgery.

I will also be out of work for a total of 12 weeks, so I'm also looking to recover some of the lost wages as it is likely I will not be eligible for FMLA.

A brief cost rundown:

$2,500 - copayments and coinsurance

$3,500 - recovery of lost wages

Anything else is to cover GFM fees and anything else that may pop up. I will of course keep you updated.
