Stand with Lisa in Her Healing Journey

Hello! My name is Kat and as many of you know my sister Lisa is in the midst of major medical interventions to treat near fatal injuries she sustained three years ago in a head-on collision. A year and a half ago, through a series of diagnostics and troubling symptoms doctors discovered her abdominal muscle had essentially been sheared from her hip and it compromised the security of her internal organs, requiring a specialized surgery to reconstruct her abdominal wall.

Fast forward to current day, after tireless efforts to find a surgeon who was both willing and capable, she completed her surgery this week (6/18/24). Now, she faces the exceedingly difficult task of recovery, yet again.

As you can imagine this incurs incredible expense as she is inpatient many hours away from home and her husband is living nearby at a rented Airbnb, where she will also discharge for some time after it has been determined she is safe to do so.

I wanted to start this page because I know so many people love and adore Lisa. She has brought so much light into countless lives and the outpouring of support and love has lifted her heart (and mine!). So I wanted to invite anyone who would like to lend any financial support for her and her family at this time as there are so many needs and many unforeseen to come.
