Stand with Lori Melton in Her Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
My good friend Lori Melton was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. She had to have a double mastectomy and they did find cancer cells in a couple of her lymph nodes when they were doing the mastectomy. Therefore, she will be going through two different chemo treatments for the next 20 weeks. The first eight weeks will be what doctors call the 'red devil' treatment, which involves very strong levels of chemo and radiation. The second 12 weeks is a singular chemo treatment, which is a chemical treatment. She will then get five weeks off and then will go through five weeks of radiation.
Due to all the overwhelming stress and multiple doctor's appointments weekly, she will not be able to work her full-time job doing appraisals. She has always given her all, making sure everything is done properly because of the liability involved in working with appraisals and making a mistake when it comes to the home loan process. She will not be working due to the appointments and stress. She has a beautiful 15-year-old daughter also that she will have to be taking care of throughout this process and provide daily living expenses, food, gas, mortgage, electricity etc.
She is a friend who would take the shirt off her back for others and help in any way she can. I hope if anyone can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Any little bit helps. We would also love for everyone to keep her in your prayers to get her family through this difficult time. Thank you to anyone that can help! God bless you for anyone who can give and who will keep her in your prayers. Thank you again!!
