Stand with Louis Carrillo in His Health Battles

My name is Abner Strauss and I am a co-tenant of yours at 1086 Teaneck Rd. Recently I learned that our Maintenance man, Louis Carrillo, is dealing with very serious health challenges. Several months ago he was diagnosed with advanced cardiac disease and underwent a quadruple bypass open heart surgery. After his convalescence, it was good to see him back on the job, telling his so-so jokes, and giving me his usual up-beat greeting when I came into work in the morning. A number of weeks ago he was not feeling well and returned to Hackensack Hospital for a follow up visit. Unfortunately, after undergoing a number of diagnostic tests, he and his family were devastated to learn that he had received a diagnosis of lymphatic cancer. The hope is that the disease has been detected early enough to allow for an effective course of Chemotherapy.

As you can imagine, these two major health crises have placed an immense emotional and financial burden on Louis, his wife Sandra and their 3 children. Sandra took a leave from her Job to care for Louis after his cardiac surgery and must return to work just as he begins a very arduous course of chemotherapy. At this point, it is very uncertain as to when or if Louis will be able to return to work and be able to support his family. It is for these important reasons that I would like to invite all members of the 1086 tenant family to participate in a Gofundme fundraiser to help ease some of the extraordinary financial Challenges Louis and his family are facing.
