Stand with Maritza
Never in a million years did I ever think that I'd be setting up a Go Fund Me account and for the last three days I've been trying to find the perfect words to say and share our story, but the reality is that there is not a perfect way to say that cancer has plagued my family. It was Friday October 28th, 2016 that the call was received informing me that my 25 year old sister Maritza has stage 2 hodgkins lymphoma after an ER visit a week prior and a series of doctors appointments. This news has shaken my family to the core, but we remain faithful in the LORD through this journey. Together we are ready to KICK cancer out of here! Maritza will be begin chemo therapy soon and will continue for at least six months. Due to the side effects, she will not be able to work during her treatment. In fact, this week will be her last week working till after she completes all her treatments.
The Bible tells us "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 - so I plea and ask that you would stand in the trenches in unity and prayer with my family as we walk through this journey that no family ever expects to walk. I humbly ask that you would prayerfully consider contributing to Maritza's fund, as this will help supplement her income over the duration of her treatment.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Maritza.
Much Love to All,
