Stand With Monija's Mom Against Cancer

My name is Monija. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 follicular Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma this past January. For those of you that know her, you know how loving she is and how she puts everyone before herself.

She woke up one day and noticed a lump by her right ear. Initially, her doctor assumed it was just a cyst. She was sent to get a CT of her face. Then, after that, she was sent to an ear, nose, and throat doctor. Then she was sent to get a biopsy, and a couple of days went by, and she got the call that it was cancer in the lymph nodes.

She was sent to the FL cancer center, and her doctor sent her for a PET scan, which revealed the cancer had spread all over her body. My mom is starting chemo on May 6th, and she will have chemo for the next 6 months. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to work, and a lot of her medical expenses are not covered, and she’s having to pay out of pocket. With the everyday necessities of life and short-term disability only helping a small amount, finances will be very tight. My mom is very selfless, so please help and surround her with love and let her concentrate on getting better and beating this horrible cancer.

I wanna say to anyone that helps, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. In the name of Jesus, let’s beat this horrible cancer!
