Stand with Officer Tabor in His Healing Journey
Donation protected
On May 11th, 2024, Officer Darien Tabor, an 8-year veteran of the City of Atlanta Police Department, was shot in the line of duty. Officer Tabor was responding to a call for service involving an armed suspect who was threatening violence against civilians and first responders. The suspect opened fire, shooting Officer Tabor twice; once in the arm and once in the leg. The bullet wound to the leg was critical; fracturing his femur. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where medical staff took tremendous care of him.
Officer Tabor works hard to provide for his family so his wife Wendy can care for their two young children; 5 and 2. He has worked tirelessly to protect and serve a community where he was born and raised. His recovery will require months of medical appointments and physical therapy. During this time they should be able to focus on his recovery!
Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to cover the wages that he will be missing , we are hoping to ensure peace of mind to him and his family.
