Stand with Pam: The Dog Nanny's Road to Recovery

Hi! My name is Liza and I am raising money on behalf of my friend, Pam, The Dog Nanny.

Pam is an avid dog advocate. Her entire life has been devoted to caring for dogs - from working in dog kennels to becoming a one-woman-show as The Dog Nanny. She is a mom to 4 of her own dogs (Lottie Jean, Eddie, Tony, and Gabbi) and is a dog nanny, which is a large source of income in her household right now.

Sadly, while Pam, The Dog Nanny, was walking one of her dog clients, the pup got spooked and pulled Pam down to the ground. Pam's shoulder was completely shattered and her leg is broken. She had to have surgery and has been in the hospital since April 16.

Pam has a long road ahead of her. She is currently working with an occupational therapist in the hospital and waiting to be transported to a rehabilitation hospital where she will receive intensive therapy for two weeks after which she will hopefully be allowed to return home and begin outpatient physical and occupational therapy.

Because Pam only receives income when she is actively working (i.e., walking dogs), she has no income right now. The business' liability insurance policy does not cover her; it only covers other people and/or their animals.

Pam estimates that she will be out of work for 4 months starting with the day of the fall and ending when she is cleared by her doctors/therapists to begin walking dogs again.

Pam is terrified because she cannot pay her mortgage and other related expenses if she isn't working. Between her mortgage, utilities, and caring for her own dogs, her bills will total over $10,000 for 4 months. If Pam is out of work, she cannot pay those bills.

Pam is an amazing person and fabulous dog advocate, and she needs our help!
