Stand with Paula Stoner in Her Healing Journey

Hi, my name is Carol Stoner and I am raising funds to help my sister Paula Stoner. She suffered a major heart attack and was in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit from April 6th, 2024 until May  2nd, 2024. She was in a long-term acute care hospital for two and a half months, a rehab facility for forty days, and is now in a long-term care facility. 

Paula has been a teacher for Carden of Tucson for the past thirty years. She loves teaching more than you could ever imagine.

Paula’s road to recovery is still 

going to be long and arduous and she is now without any income. She will need the funds to be able to pay for all of her living expenses, medical bills, insurance, etc. over the upcoming months.

There is a great likelihood that Paula will not ever be able to go back to doing the thing she loves so much, teaching. It is breaking her heart knowing this. 

I am raising these funds for Paula because she is my everything. She has taken care of me when I was unable to take care of myself, going far above and beyond what she should have done. She deserves so much better than what she’s now experiencing. These funds will go a very long way to removing many of Paula’s financial worries.

These funds will be used to pay for Paula’s housing expenses (rent, electricity, phone, insurance), Cobra health insurance when her health insurance runs out in June, groceries and other necessities, other household expenses (cleaning supplies, light bulbs, air filters, etc.).

These funds will give her the time to concentrate on her healing and becoming stronger every day.

Any amount you are able to give is greatly appreciated and will be used to make sure Paula has a home to return to.
