Stand with Prisma: Hope for a Second Chance

Prisma Pelayo, 39, has endured immense struggles since childhood, making difficult choices along the way. Now a recovering drug addict, she is in urgent need of a liver and possibly kidney transplant. As a single mother to Nathaniel (17) and Daniella (10), she has faced an extremely challenging year. Despite being told multiple times by doctors at Kaiser that there are no options for her, she, along with her family and friends, continues to fight and pray for a miracle.

Her parents, Maricela and Carlos Pelayo, provide financial support, with her mother having stopped working to care for Prisma and her children. The family hopes to raise funds for the children’s education, as they have fallen behind due to their circumstances.
