Stand with Rebekah: Leukemia and Pregnancy

My name is Rebekah Goodman, and less than a week ago, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). I am a devoted mother to my sweet 2-year-old son, August, and a loving wife to my incredible husband, Andrew. I’m also expecting our second child in July, making this diagnosis even more overwhelming.

Right now, I’m undergoing intensive chemotherapy at the University of Chicago, and my husband, Andrew, has had to step away from work to care for me and our little one.

I’ve always been strong for my family, but this is a fight I can’t face alone.
