Stand With Rex in His Cancer Journey
Donation protected
In September of 2024, my beautiful boy Rex Emiliano (4) suffered a severe seizure that led to him being diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called CNS Neuroblastoma. Our lives changed forever that day. His first treatment plan was an immediate tumor resection craniotomy. We had to make the decision to do a second craniotomy because the radiation treatment recommended would have been detrimental to his development and life-threatening. After his second craniotomy he is now on his 5th round of chemotherapy. He will soon be going to get a stem cell transplant which, he will be admitted inpatient for 40 days in isolation.
The treatments he receives to keep him alive are also slowly destroying him. If we don't treat him, we will lose him. If we give the treatments, it also threatens his life. The cure is a stem cell transplant. So, I pray that we make the right decisions for Rex.
It has been such a challenging time for our family trying to defeat this disease. Rex has fought such an amazing fight and I am hopeful he will come out of this nightmare with a victory, CANCER FREE!!!
Since Rex’s diagnosis, I have had to resign from my Job, to care for, and travel to all of his appointments and treatments. Financially, our family is experiencing the hardest of times. Medical expenses, travel expenses, living at the hospital endlessly, and still maintaining a household for my other children, has been financially draining. Rex is fighting hard against Cancer, and we need your help to ease the financial burden. Every bit matters. Any donations, gifts, prayers, or kind words are so deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please follow us along Rex’s journey to be cancer free! #RexStrong
