Stand with us in Robert’s Lymphoma battle

My name is Robert. I am 52, I have been married 30 years to my beautiful and loving wife. I have 2 fur babies, one beautiful Goddaughter, and three Godson’s. I have been working as a diesel mechanic for 32 years.

I was diagnosed on March 06, 2025, with follicular lymphoma. It is located in my lymph nodes. I have several swollen in my abdomen, including a grapefruit-sized one. I have two that are located in my neck that are golf ball-sized, one under both armpits and three around my heart. If I get scrapes or cuts, I now have to watch those areas for infections when I never did before. I am starting to lose my taste. My fatigue has literally taken it out of me now. I have a higher level of pain and I am trying to manage all of it. The lymph nodes hurt in my neck, and my back aches so bad from the ones located in my abdomen. My immune system is losing its fight right now, but hopefully, after treatment, it will get better. My white blood cell count is below normal. My hematocrit levels are very low.

I bruise easy and it is harder to breathe.

I am asking for your help. I never like asking for help unless I am put in a situation. This is a BIG situation! I will have to get my port put in for my chemo treatments. Now, through all of this, I need to pay co-pays, meds, and 20% co-insurance along with a higher deductible and out-of-pocket costs. I have not been able to work due to side effects and first time port placement. My chemo treatments are intense. I have appointments almost every week. I haven’t been able to work since chemo. Lots of lab work. I am in need of help with medical expenses.
