Stand with Saige in Her Health Battle

My name is Kalan. I'm Saige Hughes' mom. Saige is a 3-year-old who has been fighting since she came into the world. I thank God for my daughter. Saige has been fighting seizures since she was 6 months old. She is a fighter, never letting anything hold her back. But in May 2024, my baby's health took a turn for the worse. She started falling out and passing out, and we didn't know what was going on, but Saige still was pushing through with her bright smile.
They let me know that she was having silent seizures that started messing with her ability to walk and balance. Still, Saige didn't let that stop her. I stay up all night watching my baby. I still don't understand how she is this strong at 3 years old. On June 6, Saige took ill in school, losing her function to hold her urine and bowel. She passed out and was rushed to John Hopkins Pediatric Emergency room. When tests were run on my baby at this time, they didn’t know what was wrong with Saige. She had 4 seizures at this time. She was given medication that controlled them somewhat. They talked to me and said they believe there is more going on.
They brought the heart doctor in. They did an echo on my daughter's heart to find out that her heart was not working correctly. So now, my super great small 3-year-old has heart failure. So I need help. I stopped working because she started to get sick more. And anyone who knows me knows I love my kids and I wouldn’t trust anyone to care for them but me. I know it's a lot of people who love Saige and know it's hard for me to ask for help!!! Because I'm used to doing for her, but I need help with this journey for her going to hospital visits, transportation, and food, and things to keep Saige in good spirits. Anything will help. The funds are going into her bank account for her personal needs. As I stated, Saige thanks everyone who helps or just keeps us in prayer. I thank you. I never ask for help, but it's different when it comes to my kids. She gets her heart monitor on Monday. This is new for Saige. Keep us in prayer.
