Stand with Samantha in Her Time of Need

Hey friends,

My name is Victoria Perrone, and I'm a former classmate of Samantha (Gaynor) Vietro at Strath Haven. Angelina (Carrea) Bollinger and I wanted to create a GoFundMe for our friend, Samantha, because she is going through a hard time right now, and we want to collectively help get her through this hardship.

Samantha has for a long time had cerebral palsy. Her disability is difficult for employers to accommodate which makes it difficult for Samantha to find the right job that will work for her and her family. She's been through a longer stint of unemployment; government representatives have been less than helpful to her and her family, so they are currently working with one salary but raising two kids, as we know, adds up. Sam's husband is working two jobs at the moment which makes it hard for him to see the kids. Samantha wants to be working and contributing to her family, but being discriminated for having a disability is something that is hard to control and combat.

Sam bought a house down the street from her mom to help her out, but them shortly after, Sam's mom passed away so she now has no longer parents; she no longer has that support system to help her with her family. Some Haven friends parents have been helping where they can (which is greatly appreciated), but right now, they could use financial support to catch up on their mortgage and other bills until Samantha can find a position that will work for her situation.

If you can't contribute, Samantha's family can also benefit from grocery store gift cards or dinners/meals for the family. Anything right now is helpful!
