Stand with Sarah: Help with Medical Financial Burdens

I have known Sarah for 14 years. In that time, I have not known her to ever ask for help, yet she is constantly going out of her way to help others. She is the most kind-hearted, giving, and selfless person I know. Unfortunately, over the last few years, Sarah has struggled with multiple medical issues, which have undoubtedly put her in medical debt. The financial burden of doctor’s visits, procedures, hospitalizations, and prescription medications has become overwhelming for Sarah. Medications alone cost her hundreds of dollars each month. As her friend, and someone who works in healthcare, I am so disappointed in how the system has failed to help her.

Even when she is feeling her worst, she continues to be the most dedicated employee, working exhausting hours. She has carried a physically demanding full-time job as well as picked up side jobs to help with medical expenses, like Uber. If you know Sarah at all, you will understand why I am asking that you help her to get through this financial setback. If you can’t donate money, please consider saying a prayer for her or occasionally sending her some words of encouragement.

Sarah has faced many obstacles in her life but, she continues to impress me with her positivity and strength. She is truly deserving of anything we can offer her. Thank you all!
