Stand with Shaun Griffith's Family in Loss

My name is Hailey Griffith. My father in law Shaun Griffith was brutally murdered on Sunday July 7th 2024. He was an amazing father, brother, nephew and son. He was one of the best nurses and served the high desert community for years. Everyone who has had the opportunity to meet Shaun Griffith knows that he has a heart of gold. Shaun was a natural caretaker and made sure everyone around him knew they were loved. April Green was his ex girlfriend. They ended their relationship in 2021. He was a victim of domestic violence for multiple years. For reasons beyond our understanding, April senselessly took his life. Shaun was attacked in his home Sunday morning by his ex girlfriend. Shaun unfortunately succumbed to his injuries after sustaining a gunshot wound. He did nothing to deserve this, she came to the home unprovoked. We had just celebrated his 45th birthday the day before. The entire Griffith and Dickson family are completely devastated. Shaun is survived by his two sons Nicholas Griffith (24), and Dominic Griffith (11), as well as so many people who loved him unconditionally. His murder is leaving us with so many unanswered questions and has created a void in the hearts of his two boys that nothing, not even time can fill. The unexpected loss has impacted our family in many ways including financially.
