Stand with Sophia in her battle against brain cancer
Donation protected
Sophia Nicole. This is possibly the hardest thing, I have ever had to do, is put into words what needs to be said for you. To share your story & journey.
Sophia is 4 years old. And such a little light to be around. She absolutely could brighten anyone’s day. She’s funny, she’s sassy, she’s brave and she’s so strong.
On June 17, Brittany took Sophia to the doctor to have her ears looked at, for what was thought to be an ear infection. Sophia had been stumbling and tripping quite often. More than normal. More than a 4 year old should. She started walking when she was 11 months old and has always been able to run, jump, and play as a normal 4 year old should.
After being seen by the Dr. and discovering it was not an ear infection. Sophia had a CT Scan which revealed that she had a brain tumor. At first, it was thought to be small (the size of a marble” and would be safe to access and operate on. The following day, Sophia underwent an MRI. The news received prior to her MRI, was quickly tossed out of the window.
Sophia was diagnosed with a brain tumor that can not be removed or tested on. She was diagnosed with “Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma” Also known as DIPG. This is very aggressive & very fast acting.
Brittany and Billy need to be by her side, while still being able to support their family which includes 4 other children. Please consider donating to help them through this very difficult time.
If you are not able to donate, please share Sophia’s story. And please, send prayers for this family as they endure this heartbreaking news that no parent should ever have to receive about their child.
