Stand with Terri in Her Cancer Journey

Hello, my name is Haley and I am organizing this fundraiser with the help of my friend Emily on behalf of our co-worker and friend, Terri.

Five years ago, Terri suffered a rare type of skin cancer that was the result of radiation due to another cancer she had 11 years prior - which has left her with a lifetime of care. The first and second cancer she beat giving it 100%. Unfortunately, cancer returned into her life and she is now in Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that is very rare and aggressive. In two months, the mass on her pancreas has spread to her liver where she now has seven lesions. She is currently undergoing two types of chemotherapy (typically used for people with lung cancer) that will result in unpleasant and debilitating side effects. Terri is no longer able to work at her job where she has been employed for ten years working at a nursing home. Because of this she is unable to pay for any bills she has, future doctor visits and the medication she needs. She also will have to pay for cremation services.

The news of her diagnosis has been very devastating for herself, her family, and her friends.

Terri is a wonderful and giving person. She is a mother to two, grandmother to three (with one currently on the way) and a loving wife. Throughout her life has given to others in need when able. She is always very kind, sweet, and positive even in stressful situations. She has been a shoulder to lean on and someone to talk to when they need it and she always makes people laugh. She is one of the most genuine individuals in this world and it is a better place with her in it. She does not deserve what she is having to endure.

We ask that you please help our friend, Terri. Even the minimal donation of $5 is enough. We would really like to do everything we can to reduce her stress and add some peace to her life.
