Stand with the Balderas Family in Need

First of all, I would like to say that thankfully our little 18 month toddler Julian, has made a slowly but steady recovery from a sudden unknown stomach bacteria which had him hospitalized for over a week.

Everything started so suddenly that we were caught by surprise. He began convulsing over and over and had involuntary shaking for several days. We had him rushed to the hospital fearing the worst. It was excruciating to see our boy convulsing as the doctors attempted to figure out what was going on. Finally, they decided that it was necessary to intubate him. Because he had liquid in his little lungs, the doctors began to aspirate them. Watching his little body convulse as they aspirated liquid from his little lungs was the worst sight ever. After several days, the doctors were able to stabilize him and he began a slow but steady recovery. We are extremely thankful that he is back home with us. We are also eternally grateful to all the medical staff who helped us throughout this difficult time.

Unfortunately, and despite having insurance to cover some of the costs, this medical emergency has left our emergency funds completely depleted, and we are barely making ends meet. For this reason, we created this Go Fund Me account hoping to raise a little bit of money to get back on our feet.
