Stand with the Boskas After the Fire Loss

Our dear friends were one of the many families who lost their home in the recent SoCal fires. The Boska family (Jon, Stacy, Haddie, & Emmett).

Jon and Stacy purchased their home years ago. While the house was move-in ready, the rest of the property was not. They poured their heart and soul into fixing up the outside space. They cleared the yard, planted, potted, learned to lay brick, and re-fenced. Over time, they created a beautiful space for their kids to grow up, and they freely and regularly opened their space to family, friends, and neighbors. They found so much joy in their beautiful Altadena home.

As a SoCal resident, I (Cassie Fishback) know there are many places where you can donate at this time to help families in need, but I hope you’ll consider giving what you can to the Boskas. I know it won’t bring back what they’ve lost, but my hope is to help them as they get back on their feet. School clothes, supplies, toys, food, temporary housing, etc., while they navigate this long, rough road. If you know the Boskas, you know what kind, generous, loving people they are. I’m hoping we can come together and return that generosity in their time of need.
