Stand with the Doherty Family in Their Time of Need

The Doherty family has spent so much time supporting events and families in Burlington over the years and continue to step up when it is needed. From sporting events to fundraisers, the Dohertys have always been there for the community. Now they need our help.

Like most 50+ year old men, Kevin Doherty recently went in to "check the box" and have a colonoscopy as is recommended for anyone over 50. What was a routine procedure quickly became the Doherty family's worst fear realized.

After many procedures and surgery, Kevin was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer about 3 weeks ago. Although the family and doctors remain optimistic about the future prognosis, the next 6 months+ will be incredibly challenging on the family, and Kevin is likely to miss a significant amount of work while enduring significant medical and personal expenses.

We are organizing this fundraiser in hopes of helping them through this horrible situation and helping them focus on health and the road to recovery.
