Stand with the Langs: Home Lost in Fire

My name is Jedd Scher, and I'm raising money for my friends, the Lang Family (Alex, Liza, Poppy and Shepherd). The Langs lost their Altadena home in the wildfires that swept Los Angeles.

Alex is a very dear friend and a true mentor (a word I don't throw around lightly). He was one of my first bosses in the entertainment industry, and I've been close to his family for nearly 20 years. I am heartbroken for them.

Anyone who has ever met the Langs knows them to be a loving, brilliant, and hilarious family. There's nothing they wouldn't do for their friends. Their home was a warm refuge for so many.

My hope is that these funds will help the Langs rebuild in any way they need (shelter, food, clothing). I know that many LA residents are facing the devastation of these fires, and there are a lot of ways you can contribute. But please consider starting here. Every bit helps.
