Support Our Beloved The Perk Downtown Coffee and Tea House in Its Final Chapter

Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. Our cherished local spot, The Perk Downtown, is facing the difficult decision to close its doors permanently. The cafe has been more than just a place to enjoy a cup of coffee; it has been a community gathering spot, and a home away from home for many in our neighborhood.

Due to the financial challenges of running a successful business in this environment and the impending retirement of the owners, we find ourselves at a crossroads. Despite our best efforts to adapt and overcome these hurdles, the reality of our situation has led us to this moment of farewell.

Our Goal: In light of this, we are starting a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $12,000 to cover lost wages and help with the transition of our great staff into their next chapter of life post The Perk Downtown. All proceeds from this Fund will go to the baristas to help with this transition. Your support will not only help alleviate their financial burden but also share the joy their skills of crafting phenomenal drinks and their smiles have brought to our lives.
