Stand with the Peters Family Today

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Maleisha and Jordan Peters are facing an unexpected and challenging journey as they prepare to welcome their second child, Zayne Edward Peters, into the world much earlier than expected.

Maleisha was joyfully anticipating Zayne’s arrival on July 1st, 2025, but on the early morning of March 12th, at just 24 weeks pregnant, her water unexpectedly broke. Jordan rushed her to the hospital, where both Maleisha and baby Zayne are currently stable. However, Maleisha will need to remain hospitalized for as long as possible to give Zayne the best chance at a safe and healthy arrival.

How You Can Help

The Peters family is now facing significant financial strain due to the extended hospital stay, loss of income, and the added travel expenses as Jordan continues working while making the 1.5-hour journey back to the hospital every night to be by Maleisha’s side.

We are hoping to raise funds to help ease the burden of medical costs, household expenses, and travel costs so that the Peters family can focus on what matters most—keeping Maleisha and baby Zayne safe and healthy.

**Update**

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share a heartfelt thanks for all of the love and support you have shown to the Peter's family. Every prayer, every dollar, every moment you spend in spreading encouragement to this family has such an impact and they are so grateful!

Here is an update on this incredibly tough but hopeful journey. Since her water broke at just 22 weeks, Maleisha has been fighting every single day to keep Baby Zayne growing safely inside.

On March 20th, she began contracting hourly and was moved to Labor & Delivery for monitoring. This was the second time she’s been transferred due to concerns about preterm labor. Thankfully, with the help of antibiotics, steroids, and magnesium, the medical team has been able to slow things down and give Zayne more time to grow. He is now at 26 weeks, and every single day inside the womb is a victory.

Their goal is to keep Zayne safely in utero until 34 weeks, giving him the best possible chance at a healthy start in life. The road ahead is uncertain, but they are holding on to hope, faith, and the incredible support from all of you.
