Stand with Theresa & Phil Through Cancer

UPDATE — Theresa and Phil have been amazed by the outpouring of support. We know the cost of continuing this fight will include travel, time away from work and treatment options that are not covered fully, or at all, by insurance. My name is Brian Lacy, and I'm honored to call Phil & Theresa Conner friends. I met Phil in college back in 1996. He's been my brother, my family, for almost 30 years. Theresa's smile, her positive attitude and her joy for life are infectious. For more than three decades, Theresa has been encouraging hundreds of thousands of people every day across the country through her radio show. Anyone who knows or has met or even listed to Theresa is better for it.

Theresa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June 2024. Her battle started with surgery followed by six months of chemotherapy. Family and friends recently celebrated her final chemo treatment, but soon after doctors discovered additional tumors that have been growing unaffected by chemotherapy.

Even with insurance the fight against cancer is expensive, and we’re learning that the treatment Theresa needs moving forward will likely not be covered by insurance. The schedule of treatments and doctor's appointments leads to extended time away from of work. The Conners worked through the challenge of the initial series of chemo treatments with financial support from a small group of wonderful friends who stepped in without be asked.

We all thought Theresa had reached the finish line of treatment, but this new diagnosis means another series of chemotherapy and the search for additional treatment options. And this time Theresa and Phil need everyone to help them fight. The goal of this page is to raise funds that will help cover treatment costs as well as everyday life expenses.

If you know Theresa and Phil, you know they believe in the power of prayer. More than anything, pray for Theresa’s healing, comfort for and Phil and their children, and wisdom for the doctors and nurses leading her treatment. Beyond that, any financial support you can give will help the Conners focus all of their energy on fighting and beating this horrible disease.
