Help My Mom Fight Stage IIIB Breast Cancer
My name is Cierra, and I’m reaching out to ask for help in raising funds on behalf of my incredible mom, Tiffany, as she faces one of the hardest battles of her life. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage IIIB (T4 N2 M0 G3) right breast ductal carcinoma. Her cancer is ER-positive and HER2-positive, which means her treatment plan is complex and aggressive—but she’s ready to fight with everything she’s got.
For anyone who knows my mom, she is the rock of our family—a loving, selfless, and vibrant person. She is a single mother, a grandmother of 2, a sister, daughter, and aunt.
Growing up, my mother would work two, three, and sometimes four jobs just to give me the life she felt I deserved. She has always put others before herself. She is the type of person to give you money if you needed food, give you a ride if you had no car, be a shoulder to cry on if you needed one, and be a friend to laugh with. She would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. All that she has given to others then, it’s now time for us to give back and rally around her as she fights for her life!
For about 20 years, my mom has dedicated her life to caring for others. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), she has worked tirelessly to support her patients and our family. Her work has always been physically demanding, but her compassion and care for her patients have been unwavering. Unfortunately, the physical demands of her job have become too much for her as she undergoes intensive cancer treatments, leaving her unable to work.
What She’s Facing
Her diagnosis means the cancer has spread beyond her breast to nearby lymph nodes, requiring an intensely rigorous treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, targeted therapies, surgery, and possibly radiation. While my mom is determined to fight with everything she has, the journey ahead is overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially.
A Family Fighting to Be Together
As her only child, being far away from her during this time is breaking my heart. My husband is active duty in the military, and we are currently stationed overseas. We are working endlessly to return home so I can be by her side and take care of her, but the logistics are complicated and costly. There’s still an unknown amount of time before we can reach her.
While we work to reunite, I want to do everything I can to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on healing and fighting this disease without worrying about how she’ll keep a roof over her head or make it to her next treatment.
Why We Need Your Help
Without the ability to work, my mom is struggling to keep up with mounting medical expenses and her daily life bills, including rent, car payments, and other necessities. The financial burden has added stress to an already difficult battle, and I’m hoping we can come together to give her some relief.
Your donations will go directly toward helping with:
• Medical bills not covered by insurance (co-pays and deductibles for her treatments, medications, etc.)
• Specialized therapies and care
• Everyday living expenses (rent, utilities, car payments, groceries)
• Transportation to her frequent appointments
• Provide her with peace of mind during this incredibly difficult time
• Support for her recovery and healing
We are determined to give her the best possible chance to overcome this disease, but we can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in.
How You Can Help
My mom has always been the one to lift others up, and now she needs our support. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference in easing her financial stress and allowing her to focus on getting better and brings us one step closer to helping her beat this cancer. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.
My mom is the strongest, most selfless person I know, and I know she will fight with everything she has. With your help, we can lift some of the burden off her shoulders and ensure she has the support she needs to get through this.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this incredibly challenging time. We are endlessly grateful to have you by our side during this journey. With your support, we know she can fight this battle and come out stronger on the other side.
With love and gratitude,
Cierra
