Stand with T.J. in His Battle for Life

Greetings,

My friend, T.J., went from a very productive life of worship, laughter, socializing, and visiting the sick and those in need to an abrupt fight for his life.

Not feeling well, he went to the ER thinking he was battling the flu, only to find out he was actually being battled by leukemia.

He received several prognoses, from a month to a mere 24 hours to live! Knowing that his grandson depended on him, his faith would NOT allow him to throw in the towel.

He is receiving chemo, physical, and occupational therapies at this time, all while as a single parent at the age of 58 raising his 8 y/o grandson. Things have gotten extremely tight financially and I am asking everyone to please be so kind and assist as best you can with whatever you can. This is not a ploy to help him buy a new house or car but in reality not LOSE his home or vehicle.

I’m not showing his face because I don't want to embarrass him as the onset of lymphedema has also attacked him and made doing the simplest of things like using the restroom, standing, getting in and out of the car/wheelchair painful and at some times IMPOSSIBLE.

He needs a higher toilet and things like that that insurance is not paying for, not to mention super expensive shoes that must NOW be ordered.

He also needs help with his yard work and I’m just going to be honest, by the time my work week ends I am EXHAUSTED. I’m saving to help him pay for someone to do his yard…he just needs some financial assistance.
