Stand with Trans Health: support Denice's GCS!

So yeah, it's another trans medical fundraiser. My second, in fact. I knew this was going to be happening as it was, but with a six month wait between surgery number 2 and surgery number three, it made a lot more sense to do a new campaign for my second round of surgery instead of trying to keep the old one going across everything.

So, what's happening is this- six months ago I had my first round of bottom mtf gender confirmation surgery. Due to the type of surgery I had to go with for mine, it meant results that are, well, less than complete as far as I'm concerned. I have a working vulva and everything, but no vaginal canal. This surgery is the part where that gets done, and it can only get done after that first one healed up, hence the delay.

But otherwise? It's the same scenario all over again- heavy internal surgery, a two-week bedrest in a different town, and over a month of recovery time at home again before I'll be able to work. Hence the gofundme, and hence the size- big enough to prepay a few months rent and have me covered safely through my recovery period.

Needless to say, this is now happening in times I didn't forsee when planning my transition. Transgender healthcare is under attack currently in this country, and worst case, I may need to use the funds to pay for the surgery itself. I hope it doesn't come to that. I don't have the option of fleeing the country as it is, so really, I have to get this surgery done, just for my own safety at the very least.
