Stand with Van - Van Brooks Medical Expenses

On April 11, Van was suffering from extreme stomach pain. He and Lori went to the hospital where a large mass was discovered on his colon, liver, lungs, and lymph nodes. After several tests, fighting a blood clot, and a liver biopsy, it’s been determined that Van has stage 4 liver cancer that originated in his colon. They are working quickly to attack the cancer, and Van has already begun receiving chemotherapy. As Van, and the entire Brooks family, face the road ahead, we rally together to support him!

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be instrumental in lessening the burden of medical expenses, travel costs, meals, and other needs. Van has been advised by doctors not to work while undergoing treatment so every dollar helps! Please consider donating and stand with Van as he fights this battle and wins!

Van and his wife Lori have three incredible children, two beautiful grandchildren – with a third on the way! Van has loved and cared for thousands of people over his 30 years of leadership at New Hope Church (Effingham, Newton, Shelbyville) and has made such a positive impact that cannot be emphasized enough.
