Wijdan’s family, from Gaza, is enduring unimaginable suffering in the aftermath of war. Their home was destroyed, leaving them with no choice but to live in a deteriorating tent, struggling daily to meet even the most basic needs.
She is one of four children—three daughters (Wijdan, Jowan, Teen) and one son (Salem). Her father, unemployed and drowning in debt, is unable to provide for his family’s essential needs.
To make matters worse, due to the closure of all crossings and harsh restrictions imposed by the occupation, vital medications are unavailable, and Wijdan has been denied the chance to travel for urgent medical treatment. Without proper care, her condition continues to worsen.
