Stand with Yoshi's Family in Their Tough Times
Donation protected
As many of you know, my 38 year old, pregnant, sister in law was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer on Friday, May 10. They delivered sweet baby Elise on May 14 at 32 weeks, and she will spend some time in the NICU until she can maintain her own body temperature and breath on her own. My SIL is getting a port placed today, and will start immunotherapy next week. As they were not mentally prepared for any of this, they also weren’t financially or physically prepared either. They don’t have everything ready for the baby girl, and already have 3 boys at home. They now don’t have the time to go out and get the things they need. My SIL was able to spend Mother’s Day weekend at home with her boys and family, but has been in and out of the hospital and has had 4 drains done over the last 2 weeks. My brother has constantly been going back and forth between the hospital and home to help with his kids and support his wife. He is their provider, and has not been able to working during this time, with an unknown return date. Meals are hard, because nobody knows who/when they will be home to cook, so LOTS of DoorDash and eating out has been done along with the expense of gas and the needs of the boys at home. The donations can also go towards formula, diapers, and clothing since we don’t what size she’ll be when she goes home! If you feel it in you to donate, they could use every bit of help and would appreciate it more than you know!
More importantly than donations, I’m asking that you say a prayer for quick growth of baby Elise, and that the treatments Yoshi receives work miracles.
Thank you
