Stand with Zeneyda Barrera: Family in Need

I am the cousin to Zeneyda Barrera, Who is now 18 years old. Our family is from Nicaragua. Zeneyda is a Student in lynn public schools, she’s a good kid and extremely family oriented, she’s always done everything to help her mom and brother who she loves a lot. Zeneyda and her brother have an extremely close relationship, She has always focused on her academics and family. She would never hurt anyone and is absolutely not a threat to anyone.

This week they had a small sibling argument over a phone charger in which some noise happened in the apartment and the neighbor called the police, they conducted an arrest to my little cousin because of her age being 18 and William being 12. It was a sibling argument nothing serious to be arrested for. The report made she was charged for “assault and battery” according to the statement given. Even though her brother was fine and mother claimed everything was okay in the home. Ice made an arrest to my cousin shortly after. And she is being held. She’s never gotten in trouble before and is having a hard time with asthma attacks. She has the right to an education as to any other child. All of her family is here.

please help my Aunt and her family move out of this apartment she is not working at moment due to the circumstances, and I am worried for my family. Due to media attention, some things may be untrue online. We are doing everything we can. Anything helps.

A pesar de que su hermano estaba bien y su madre afirmaba que todo estaba bien en el hogar. ICE arrestó a mi primo poco después. Y ella está retenida.
