Donation protected
In July 2017Jerry was diagnosed with stage 4 sqaumous cell carcinoma of the throat which spread to his lymph nodes and down below his collar bone. Jerry needed to have all upper teeth extracted- as well as three of his bottom teeth prior to his radiation and chemotherapy treatments. This also included having bone structure smoothing which will allow him to be fitted for dentures once he completes his treatments. Jerry was also required to have surgery to have a port and feeding tube placed prior to the treatments. On August 5th Jerry started very aggresive radiation treatments which he receives Monday through Friday with his last treatment ending on October 24th. He will also need to receive a total of three rounds of chemotherapy throughout. Upon completion of his treatments, he will also have to have two surgeries to remove lymph nodes. As you can imagine, this is taking a toll on him not only physically but also financially. Throughout treatment and recovery, Jerry is unable to work. Jerry has no insurance coverage. Out of pocket costs for medications , daily living expenses and all other bills are piling up. He is trying maintain, but is quickly falling behind. He is unable to supply any support financically for his two daughters, Olivia who is 8 and Ellie who is 7. Any support at all would be greatly appreaciated and will allow him to aim his focus on WINNING THIS BATTLE and worry less about the monatery side of this! This will not only help him with all of the expenses that he is accruing, but also help with supporting his two daughters. Let's please show him that he is NOT fighting this battle alone!!
