Standing up on her own two feet: Support Joni's comeback!

My name is Charlie pitcock, and I am writing on behalf of my mother Joni Pitcock. On may 5, 2024, we were involved in a tragic boating accident caused by a hydraulic steering failure. As a result of the accident, Joni had to undergo the amputation of her left leg above the knee. Since then, Joni has been working diligently to regain her strength and resume her normal life as soon as posible. Although the road ahead may be challanging, Joni's resilience and determination will guide her through this difficult time, just as she has overcome previous obstacals.

In 1989, Joni had experienced a failed back surgery resulting in paralization in her left leg. Despite the odds, she managed to build a successful career promoting physical and emotional well-being. Joni's positive attitude has always been the pillar of her strength and support those around her.

Joni faces a long road to recovery including daily training sessions. Without access to unemployment or disability benifits, we are seeking assistance to help cover her expenses during this difficult time. Donations received will directly support Joni in meeting her financial obligations and focus on her healing and rehabilitaion. Additionally, she will need a prosthetic leg to regain her mobility and activities she loves. Unfortunatley, many prosthetics are not covered by insurance, especially tailored to Joni's active lifestyle.
