On what should have been a normal day at the Noblesville Show Choir competition, DJ Shumaker suffered a sudden and life-threatening medical emergency-a brain aneurysm. Thanks to the quick response of medical personnel on-site and the proximity to an equipped emergency facility, DJ was given the immediate care he needed, including a lifeline flight and multiple critical surgeries. Show Choir quite literally saved his life that day.

Now, DJ faces a long and challenging road to recovery, including an extended stay in the ICU and ongoing medical care. During this difficult time, we want to rally around DJ and his wife, Sarah, to help ease the financial burden so they can focus entirely on his healing.
