Standing with Stefanie Drake

Stefanie has dedicated her life to serving and inspiring young people. As a beloved basketball coach, teacher, and assistant principal, she has made a lasting impact on countless students, always leading with passion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her community. She is also a devoted wife to Jordan and a loving mother to their energetic and intelligent three-year-old daughter, Eleanor, and their beautiful newborn, Nyree.

Stefanie’s pregnancy was challenging due to a fibroid, but despite delivering prematurely, baby Nyree was born healthy. However, just hours after giving birth, Stefanie suffered a sudden and devastating pulmonary embolism. She lost consciousness, and despite undergoing multiple emergency surgeries, she experienced significant brain damage due to a lack of oxygen.

During these procedures, doctors made another heartbreaking discovery, an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Now, on top of navigating a long and uncertain recovery, Stefanie is also facing a battle against cancer. She is currently in critical condition and will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and specialized treatment to give her the best chance at recovery.

Her family is doing everything they can to support her, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills are mounting, including the costs of hospital transfers, rehabilitation services, cancer treatments, and long-term care.
