Standing with Troy Sprinkle: Battling Colon Cancer

Donation protected
In the late 90s, a dedicated and selfless individual embarked on a journey that would lead him to become a guardian of the community. Troy, a devoted father, brother, son, and husband, answered the call to serve in law enforcement, dedicating his life to the safety and well-being of others. Over the years, Troy has worn many hats within his profession, from a jailor to a deputy, a court secretary, a resource officer, and now a defender registry officer. His commitment to his community has been unwavering, and now he needs our support as he faces his toughest battle yet:  colon cancer.

Almost three years ago, Troy was diagnosed with colon cancer. Despite this daunting prognosis, Troy never stopped working. He pressed on, showing incredible resilience as he balanced the demands of his job with the rigorous treatments of radiation and chemotherapy. His dedication to serving god and protecting his community mirrored his determination to overcome the challenges posed by his illness.

Cancer, however, is an adversary that knows no boundaries. It moved from his colon to his liver and eventually to his spine. When it reached his spine and he could no longer continue walking, Troy was faced with an agonizing decision – he had to lay down his badge. The weight of this decision was immense, yet Troy's indomitable spirit along with the lord’s guidance prevailed. He shifted his focus from safeguarding the community to prioritizing his faith, health, and recovery.

Troy's journey is a testament to his unwavering strength and his unwavering commitment to those he cares about. Beyond his law enforcement duties, Troy finds solace in nurturing the land as a dedicated farmer. His passion for life extends to his role as an avid horseman and hunter, showcasing his deep connection to the natural world. Through his varied roles, Troy's vibrant spirit has left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

Now, as Troy confronts this formidable adversary, he needs more than just his personal strength – he needs the collective strength of his faith and a community that believes in his fight.

The financial burden that accompanies such a battle is staggering. Medical bills, treatment costs, and the weight of daily expenses can become overwhelming, threatening to overshadow Troy's unwavering determination. That's why we're gathering here, uniting to ease the financial strain that threatens to compromise his spirit. Your contribution will not only alleviate the mounting financial pressures but also allow Troy and his family to focus on what truly matters during this challenging period.

Troy's story resonates with all of us who understand the importance of unity in the face of adversity. As he confronts his diagnosis with the same unyielding resolve he's shown throughout his life, let's stand together for Troy. Your donation, whether large or small, will make a profound difference. It will serve as a beacon of solidarity, a testament to the profound impact one individual can have on a community, and a wellspring of strength for Troy as he navigates this battle.

Together, let's honor Troy's dedication – to his profession, his loved ones, his passions, and his community. Your support will not only provide financial relief but also stand as a powerful reminder that no one fights alone. Let's be the unwavering support that Troy needs, reminding him that his fight is our fight too.

Join us today in backing Troy's journey to conquer stage 4 colon cancer. Let's unite behind this resilient protector, farmer, horseman, and friend. Your support can make a world of difference.

Warmest Regards,
Chesney Sprinkle (daughter) & Family
