Kwabena Nelson also known as Kobi was a vibrant, funny, happy and loving boy, with his whole life ahead of him.
On February 3rd 2018 the family and friends of Kobi, suffered the greatest loss imaginable. Kobi was taken from us in an extremely violent, mindless act of knife crime. It's truly a day that we'll never forget. Kobi worked as a youth-worker for an award-winning project in Haringey which helps young people at risk of becoming gang members get back into education, employment and training.
Kobi was called "the fly boy" amongst his friends - he never failed to make those around him smile and laugh.
We, the family, are trying to do the only thing we can and that is to try our best to raise some funds in hopes of giving Kobi the best send of possible. If you can donate anything at all, we'll be incredibly grateful.
Money raised will go towards Kobi's funeral arrangements. We ask that if you cannot support financially that you, please, keep the family in your prayer.
Although Kobi, lost his life in minutes, his family and friends will live with it forever. This has to change.... and we as a people, as a community and as a family have the power to help tackle the issues which leads to gun and knife crime, if we can stand together.
