Law and CSI internship

Hello! My name is Celeste Arias. I am the oldest of 4 children, in a military family, and a high school sophomore in California.  I have been accepted into a summer intensive internship at Stanford University (https://law.stanford.edu/envision-collaborates-with-stanford-law-school/) . The intensive internship at Stanford aims to provide an introduction into the field of legal practice. The program also provides opportunities for me to engage in mock trial, ethical debate, and case study work with Stanford legal professionals and professors. 


I would very much appreciate the opportunity to participate in this program. Not only do I have a passion for law, I have personal experience engaging with the legal system as a minor. I know, first hand, the value in a legal system that works toward prosecuting and seeking justice for victims of crime. I would like nothing more than the opportunity to engage in this training program at Stanford. It will give me exposure to, and insight on, the field of law. Additionally, the intensive internship will help me build the experience I will need to apply to Law School in the future.


I have a strong history of academic success. I have a history of earning a 4.0 GPA, honor roll, and a variety of athletic awards. I have received the Scholar Athlete Award, as such I have received recognition for success in both academic and athletic arenas.
