Stangoe's Summit 2

Alex was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October 2019. We had never heard of this type of cancer before then... since then his journey through various treatments, chemo, stem cell Transplant, he has been supported by amazing staff within the lanarkshire hematology dept... but unfortunately this diesese has no cure yet.. we want to give back and help in finding a cure to help anyone who has to deal with this awful diesese..

Alex has been a keen hill walker for years and our very first hill walk as a family, we climbed Ben A'an.

During his illness, Alex suffered significant nerve damage and since then he has had some mobility issues but its not stopping him. He aims to climb Ben A'an, along with family and friends to raise as much as we can to help others in the future.

This climb follows one done by his amazing friends Ben Lomond ... which was named Stangoe's Summit ...

So on the 15th Oct 2022, the climb up Ben A'an will be proudly named "Stangoe's Summit 2"
