Show Your Love for Stanley Jones & Alice Jamieson

As you know, publicly funded schools in Calgary are notoriously under-funded.  This site has been created by the parents at Stanley Jones School  (grades K-6) and the Alice Jamieson Girls’ Academy  program (grades 4-9) to help supplement resources for the school and teachers to use.  Our traditional means of fund-raising have been eliminated through the pandemic (coupon books, bake sales, bottle drives, Scotiabank marathon), so we are adapting to our new normal.
 
Funds received are used in many different ways, including but not limited to:

 1 .  Staff professional development (standard first aid, specialized literacy, specialized math, how to support diverse learning needs),
2.  Teacher appreciation and recognition,
3.  Building upgrades and maintenance (including the outdoor sprinkler/ garden system),
4. Supporting families at the school who are in need, and
5. Social activities for the students (Sports Day, school concerts).

We also use the funds to bridge us between the gaps in any other third-party funds, and the gaps during this pandemic are significantly larger for funding books, math resources, science equipment, and technology within the school (computers, smart boards, iPads, projectors, and learning software). 

If you are able to provide a donation that is appreciated.  Unfortunately it is not tax deductible, but we will still issue you a receipt.
